something to put something on
i'm woefully undereducated when it comes to conceptual art, abstract painting, geometric abstraction etc, not to mention, the distinctions between such movements, but my love is steadily growing for guys like josef albers, max bill,john baldessari, sol lewitt...

that photo of "bits and pieces put together to present a semblance of a whole" was taken of the brick facade at the walker art center in minneapolis. it's prominent location (at a major intersection that divides uptown from downtown) has resulted in its becoming sort of emblematic of the city.
